Recreating the Ammonia-power Vehicle

Incrementally recreating what Vezina built several years ago – Ammonia-powered car.

Lava, Foggy Mornings and Humid Days

lava-oceanI noticed that during foggy mornings and humid days driving to the office and back home (approx 20 miles mostly highway), my car sends me an email through that the trip MPG is above 40.  My car regularly does between 33 – 36 MPG.  These messages were the reasons why I thought water mist/fog injected to the air intake might replicate that effect.  When water is heated it expands approximately 1400x in volume, thus, creating extra pressure on the pistons.

It was just a thought until i read this article about throwing cold water at volcanoes to create pressure from steam to run turbines generating geothermal energy.

Lucky that the lower end of temperature of lava is around 1292 F which is also the approximate temperature inside a gasoline internal combustion engine.  A close indicator of the temperature inside the car engine is the catalytic temperature captured by the OBD2 adaptor using Torque Pro and

This might just work.  The next question is how much water mist/fog?  That will need to be tested.

The initial tabletop setup looks like this.

The Internet of Social Cars

When we started using it made our effort a little bit easier.  Learning about how the car computer reacts when HHO + HHHN are injected to the engine’s air intake became more accurate. made it possible by changing the old paradigm of a passive car

to the new paradigm of a more social car

Transportation produces 30% of all US Global Greenhouse Gas Emissions

Transportation produces 30% of all US global greenhouse gas emissions. Read article here.

We need to help out in anyway we can. But people are busy. Global future for our children is almost a second thought too far.  Our current energy use and its emissions are not sustainable.  Newer cars can be cleaner with new technology.  But older cars can be cleaner, too.  Learn it here.

Simple Setup in Test Car

Here is the setup of of the GreenFuel Booster on the test car.  I took an even simpler approach of connecting the bottom tube from the H2O + NH3 supply to the top tube of the electrolyzer.

How to View your Car’s Engine Data at

By using Torque Pro and Autotalky apps from Google Play Store, you can view your car’s data online at  Here is a video of how it can be done.
